If you had a saying in it, what would you prefer – being happy or
being smart?
One of the hardest choices, I know…
Why am I bugging you with this?
Well, the next question might shed some light on the subject – name
the three most popular uses to a vial of oil (guess what type of oil…).
If you guessed rubbing yourself silly with it, as your top
priority, you are correct…
Most people enjoy doing the exact same thing in the heat of the fray
while modron by products rub themselves eagerly against your privates…
Although those who participated in the survey stated they hate it
when people ask them afterwards for the grounds of such behavior, and tend to
justify with even more idiotic excuses of wits and heroism…
I’ve been thinking about the issue and reached a conclusion (don’t
worry, as always, I share everything but my jachnoon stories!), role playing
your character well, is a key step in making the game realistic (in the
relevant aspects) and fun; therefore I suggest the following changes to the
rules:
1)
Yoav must
take characters with severe psychotic elements.
2)
Hadi must
practice his character for 2-5 sessions as an NPC before we allow him to attach
to it and achieve PC status.
3)
Tomer’s
characters will always be fated (or Merkhants) with the maximum scores of 6 in
charisma, 7 in intelligence and 5 in wisdom.
4)
Nir must
belong to a strict faction of logic and order – say it with me (fraternity of
order) good!
5)
Eyal is
forever condemned to DMing, he can’t have any butter breaks, but he can always
mope about it.
Another topic I’d like to discuss, karma.
Yup, good ol’ karma; I have a theory, you see (or as you say in
yoavit “zou zee”), I believe karma derives from the player (how else can you
explain a player who uses all of his karma points to get a hit in a dire
situation, causing a critical hit, inflicting triple damage, and reaching the
grand total of 3 damage?) so I say we add rule number 6:
Yoav’s character can’t have more than 1 karma point (face it dear,
it’s for your own good, you won’t be able to build your hopes up…).
I bet Yoav is pondering right now on the reason for his low kismet,
I have one thing to say:
DIPDIP!
Another issue – our friendly neighborhood modron – did you notice
that lately he’s beeping on a regular (duh – Nir not being regular?) basis?
He keeps saying something about work and stuff but I suspect he’s ovulating
or something…
Last but not least, don’t forget to go and vote on Tuesday – the fight
on the board of simtat avivim 6 is upon us – don’t be surprised if we all get
deported pretty soon!
I shall leave you with a pearl of wisdom: there are no stupid
characters, only stupid players…
